Why us?

  • Two women with two dogs inside a store with shelves of surfboards in the background.

    Temperament

Our Corsos are friendly, steadfast, and sound of mind- but will absolutely act on a true threat. The breed is a guardian first and is not for the faint of heart.

Our Corsos have defended against a home invasion, taken to the Schutzhund field, and some are working therapy dogs.

The backdrop is blue, decorated with flowers in woven baskets, and a sign indicates they are at an American Kennel Club event, celebrating a dog as Best of Breed and New Champion.

    Conformation

Good structure is critically important to ensure a dog can perform its job- Our dogs are proven in the show ring. We have AKC champions, grand champions, UKC champions, International champions, dogs that have won specialty shows, Best in Shows, and Reserve Best in Shows!

Our Cane Corsos are bred with the standard in mind.

    Working Ability

We don’t believe in a working-show line split. For that reason, we breed to retain working ability and drive in all of our dogs.

A Corso should be a jack-of-all-trades and a master of none- Which means our dogs should be able to do anything and everything. From the Schutzhund field to the barn hunt trial, from agility jumps to Therapy work- A Corso should be able to do it all. Our dogs are titled across multiple sports, proving their stability and working drive.

    Health

Extensive health testing is critical to making informed breeding decisions. Our breeding dogs are tested for hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, Dental-Skeletal-Retinal Anomaly, luxating patella, and more.

While health testing cannot guarantee a dog free of orthopedic or genetic disease, it does allow us to make the best decisions we can- and to support our puppy owners throughout the life of their dog.

What We Do

  • Person cuddling with several black and gray puppies on a cozy surface indoors.

    Puppy Culture

Our litters are raised with the Puppy Culture program. We place early neurological stimulation, extensive socialization, shaping, and early scent introduction to give our dogs the best possible start in life.

    Rebates for Titles

We want our puppy owners to feel empowered to do things with their dogs! For this reason, we have a rebate program where you can earn cash back for putting titles- like a Championship, a Canine Good Citizen, or Trick Dog title on your dog. You can also apply the rebate to the cost of a future puppy.

We provide our puppy owners with lifelong support: We offer a 24 month health guarantee, ongoing training assistance, and free group classes for our local families.

If something happens and you find yourself needing to rehome your dog, we require the dog come back to us. Your dog will ALWAYS have a home with Redhawke Cane Corso!
